WOW! This is not what I thought I would see as I check into you blog but the surprised only added to the beauty. I agree to the fullest with Karima. To see a new freedom in your art is the greatest. To watch you transform. grow, and dive in in a new way on canvas is beautiful. I can only imagine the inner personal transcendence that is happening. Again you amaze me and INSPIRE me.

Love your mind Jeff….or lack of it as it were, better still. Mind starts naming things, and it reduces it to its mental box. Hey, we do both know the role of chaos!!! No race for identification, by Grace…it is Source!!!! It is fun playing in the ooze….thank you for being another pioneer adventurer of the Ooze….!!!!

It’s a snapshot of the uncarved block, the primordial ooze before man starting naming things. A tad chaotic, but hey there won’t be all the usual attachment going down as we race for identification with what we wish were there.

Karima…….you find such inspiring words for this wordless, idea-less color play i have been recently painting. These paintings have a different kind of energy than more representational art ….they reach into a inner place of perception for the viewer that is not so much about ideas, and more about allowing ones self to just look, experience….and feel…(or even not feel )…in any case there is an invitation. No mental to it. Painting them is a joy for me. I felt a deep connection when you said in your comment: “…there is a sense of freedom to play, to express joy in sweeping abstract strokes, each one born from being splattered and tossed into the world, by an artist who has herself been set free…”
My newest art is such a ‘jump off the cliff’ from my previous art.
Part of my personal liberation is about letting go of needing approval to feel validated. Step into a new paradigm which has nothing at all to do with that…very liberating and light…
Let the empty charged moment shine….then make a mark, then another…. on a white field of waiting canvas. Or on a day. Take a walk, contemplate a flower, or chop wood and carry water…all the same…we are creators!

Wow Jan,
starting from the name you chose, which I just vibrate to, this painting has morphed into technicolor and richness in such a beautiful, and seemingly effortless way. It was alluring right from the beginning, once again a joyous burst or splash of spontaneous creativity against a canvas. The canvas yielded to the colors in such a way, it begged them go deeper, which they did..and today we see this depth and feel the (in my mind) artistic organic life force, the canvas the Creator himself paints upon, in imaginative colors. sometimes truly beyond our imaginations. Yes in this one too jan, there is a sense of freedom to play, to express joy in sweeping abstract strokes, each one born from being splattered and tossed into the world, by an artist who has herself been set free.. It rings out to me like a garden of innocence and child-like wonder..truly beautiful… Bravo my friend!!
